Respondus Lockdown BrowserRespondus Lockdown Browser users on Mac or iPad might experience issues with accessing quizzes in Canvas. To avoid the issue, students should instead use the "Quizzes" or "Modules" tabs in the Canvas course to navigate to the quiz.2023-10-02
External IT Services Status (Vendor Status Information)UWF relies on many third-party systems to function.  Many of these third-party systems have their own status webpages that the public can access.  Click the link to the left to see the statuses and links for these pages.N/A
Updating the statuses of Jira ticketsIf you have back-end Jira access and are unable to change the status of only one particular ticket, the Jira form may have been filled out with an incorrect date format. Please have the customer re-submit the ticket and ensure that they submit any date fields in the format of MM/dd/yyyy.2022-09-20
DocuSignWhen scrolling through the default DocuSign inbox view, some documents may not show up until a user explicitly searches for them. The search will run successfully and the documents will show up in the default inbox view when the user scrolls through it again. This behavior is "reset" and steps must be repeated when a user closes and reopens DocuSign. 2022-04-12
Adobe Creative Cloud SyncRecently, Adobe sent out an email regarding Creative Cloud Sync; Adobe will not allow sharing of files outside of an organization in February 2024, and they are discontinuing their Cloud Sync of user's files in October 2024. As we have many users who rely on Adobe products, the recommended solution from Adobe is to backup files locally and with services such as Google Drive. Google Drive (and similar services) is the recommended way to share these files.2023-08-02

Alert Handling

How do we define an alert

All of the following must apply:

  • We can consistently reproduce an unexpected behavior.
  • An issue is generating a number of responses from the UWF community.
  • An alert is posted either on this page, or our main Technology Alerts page.
  • Either ITS or the third-party vendors are aware of the issue.
  • Either ITS or the third-party vendors are actively working to resolve the issue.
  • Notices* will be posted if an outage is planned for high impact services.

* Other changes may occur during our posted maintenance windows that will not have a formal notice.

What to expect from an alert

ITS will make best efforts to provide the following for each alert:

  • What is expected to occur
  • What actually occurs
  • What are the workarounds for the issue (if there are any)
  • Which departments and third-party vendors are working to resolve the issue
  • When was the alert posted
  • When was the alert closed
