All US Deployments: AI Assistant failures

Resolved - The issue affecting AI Assistant functionality across all US deployments has been resolved, and full functionality has been restored. We will continue to monitor service performance to ensure stability.

Monitoring - We have implemented mitigation measures and are observing improved AI Assistant performance. We are continuing to monitor success rates and overall service stability.

Investigating - We are currently investigating an issue with AI Assistant not functioning on all US deployments and are working to correct the issue as soon as possible.

Due to an unexpected service incident, you may have been unable to access Turnitin UK classes and assignments today. Users accessing via an integration have also been affected. Administrators may have also experienced errors when accessing their portal. We are pleased to advise that service has been restored.

The incident occurred between the following times:

BST: Tuesday, 19th May 2026 12:50 - 14:20
AEST: Tuesday, 19th May 2026 21:50 - 23:20
