Graduation visit in June

Being on Campus

Get Ready

It's been a while since we first welcomed you to UWF in January 2023, so we suggest preparing for your visit before heading to campus.

Virtual Campus Map

Use our Virtual Campus Map to view and get driving directions to the various buildings you'll spend your time in. All locations of class meetings and events are specified on the itinerary below.

Print your Temporary Parking Permit

Each vehicle will need a Temporary Parking Permit before your first day on campus begins. Temporary permits are available to print via MyUWF through the Parking Transaction Portal.  Visit how to print your free 14 day temporary permit for step-by-step instructions. Note that you will need the vehicle's license plate number to complete the transaction, so you likely won't be able to complete this step until you've picked up your rental car.

If you don't have access to a printer, you can also get a temporary parking pass in Parking Services (Bldg. 20W, Room 151) on weekdays (8am-5pm, except holidays). After hours and weekends, temporary permits are available at the UWF Police office (Bldg. 94).

These parking passes will allow you to park in the Commuter and Overflow parking lots. You will find these parking lots highlighted in Green (Commuter) and Pink (Overflow) on the Virtual Campus Map.

*Campus police will ticket your vehicle and student account if you fail to follow these rules.*

Tobacco-Free Campus

As of August 2016, UWF is a Tobacco-Free Campus. Employees, students, and visitors are not allowed to use tobacco products on any university-owned properties. This restriction includes cars parked on campus. If you wish to smoke while you are here, you must leave campus grounds to do so.

MBA ePortfolio

Your MBA ePortfolio and Exit Requirements

MBA ePortfolio

Industry Selection

(warning) The same industry should be used for all four ePortfolio papers, unless you have been granted an exception by the MBA Office. By focusing your research on the same industry, you will build an ePortfolio that demonstrates an in-depth understanding across the functional areas of business.

MBA ePortfolio Courses

There are four MBA Core Courses that require completion of an ePortfolio paper:

  1. ECP 6705 Advanced Managerial Economics
  2. FIN 6406 Financial Management
  3. ISM 6137 Business Analytics
  4. MAR 6815 Marketing Management

ePortfolio Papers & Rubrics

In each ePortfolio course, the instructor will evaluate your final portfolio paper using a grading rubric, which will be returned to you.  It is your responsibility to download, save, and backup all graded rubrics and final papers as soon as they are satisfactorily completed.

You will lose access to the course in Canvas after each course ends, so it is imperative that graded rubrics are downloaded and saved in a timely manner, once they become available.

Backup your documents!

We strongly recommend using your UWF Google Drive to backup your papers and graded rubrics.  As a UWF student, you have free access to Drive and other Google apps.

All MBA ePortfolio Criteria

Read all policies and procedures of the MBA ePortfolio on the attached document

Submitting your ePortfolio

In your final semester of the program, you will submit your final MBA ePortfolio and complete other exit requirements. Detailed instructions for doing so will be emailed to all prospective graduates at the start of your final semester. This is an important part of our MBA Program assessment. You will not be cleared for graduation without this component completed.

Submitting your ePortfolio

See the ePortfolio section>> of the MBA Student Guidelines & Resources page to learn about the submission process.
