Overview


Both students and instructors can archive or restore video content that has previously been shared with them. 

Archive a Video

  • Open the Panopto video library in either your browser or the standalone app.
  • Hover the video you want to archive

          Settings Icon when hovering the top-right corner of the video

  • Click on the Settings icon in the thumbnail
  • Select Manage
  • Select Archive

Popups

If you get a browser popup asking if you are sure you want to archive the video, ensure it is from uwf.hosted.panopto.com and click 'OK'


Restore an Archived Video

BEFORE RESTORING

Please keep in mind that restoring an archived video can take up to 48 hours


  • Navigate to the folder in Panopto with the archived video
  • Select the Archived Videos icon 

          Click the Archived Videos Button to see what is currently archived 

  • Hover the video you want to restore
  • Select the Restore from Archive button

      Click the Restore Button when hovering the top-right of an archived video

Popups

If you get the same browser popup asking if you are sure you want to archive the video, ensure it is from uwf.hosted.panopto.com and click 'OK'


FAQs


Any members of the eLearning course can navigate to the Panopto section of the course and archive/restore any content that has been directly shared with them, unless access settings have been altered by the instructor or poster of the video.
