Below are some common problems students may face when attempting to log in to the FloridaShines Transient Student Admission Application (located at Take a Course at Another School).
The login page says it couldn't verify my username or password.
The credentials you use to log in to MyUWF are the same credentials you use to log in to FloridaShines. Visit Recovering Your MyUWF/ArgoNet Username or Password to confirm your username and reset your password.
Please note that FloridaShines has different password requirements than UWF does. If your password doesn't meet these requirements, then you'll have to change your password.
I am unable to recover my username or reset my password.
Please contact the ITS Help Desk by phone at (850) 474-2075 during our normal business hours and we will gladly assist you. Just be sure to be in front of your computer (a Mac or PC) when you call. We may have to remote in to assist, and if necessary, to troubleshoot and gather additional screenshots as well.
I know my username and my password, and my password meets the requirements for FloridaShines, but I still can't get logged in.
There may be a number of reasons for this. Some of those reasons are listed below:

Your active ArgoNet account was temporarily disabled because of repeated unsuccessful login attempts. | Please contact the ITS Help Desk by phone at (850) 474-2075 during our normal business hours and we will gladly assist you. Just be sure to be in front of your computer (a Mac or PC) when you call. We may have to remote in to assist, and if necessary, to troubleshoot and gather additional screenshots as well. |
