Below are some common problems students may face when attempting to log in to the FloridaShines Transient Student Admission Application (located at Take a Course at Another School).


The credentials you use to log in to MyUWF are the same credentials you use to log in to FloridaShines. Visit Recovering Your MyUWF/ArgoNet Username or Password to confirm your username and reset your password.

Please note that FloridaShines has different password requirements than UWF does. Be sure your UWF password meets these FloridaShines requirements.

Please contact the ITS Help Desk by phone at (850) 474-2075 during our normal business hours and we will gladly assist you. Just be sure to be in front of your computer (a Mac or PC) when you call.  We may have to remote in to assist, and if necessary, to troubleshoot and gather additional screenshots as well. 

There may be a number of reasons for this. Some of those reasons are listed below:

  • You don't have an active ArgoNet account
  • You have not registered for classes at UWF in the past three semesters.
  • Your active ArgoNet was temporarily disabled because of repeated unsuccessful login attempts.
