Each UWF student and employee is given a Home directory; this is commonly referred to as the H: drive. This directory resides These directories reside on UWF's servers and are backed up regularly.
For students and employees who are on campus, they can access their H drive : drives on an authorized UWF computer (most UWF-owned computers are authorized) . Students must use a wired connection via an Ethernet cable on campus; employees may be able to access their H drive over ArgoAir. For students and employees who are off campus, they'll have to access their H drive via FTP (File Transfer Protocol). Employees may be able to access their H drive using RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol)when connected to the UWF network.
Students and employees can also access their H: drives within ArgoApps . All applications have the ability to open/save from a user's H drive.
Files in the H: drive drives can be accessed after students and employees log in using their ArgoNet username and password.
Students are allocated 5 GB total for their H: drives, while employees have unlimited space. Effective February 3rd, 2025, there will be a 100 GB storage quota enforced on employee H Drives.
