Overview


Bomgar InSight allows UWF Representatives to use the camera on your mobile device to see what you see. This is beneficial for troubleshooting hardware problems, or verifying identification. InSight is available from within the Bomgar Support Client app on Android in Google Play or BeyondTrust Support on iOS for free in the App Store. The camera view ability is a function only allowed in that instance you allow it during a call with a Representative and deactivates after the call.


Instructions

Step 1

Please download the Bomgar Support Client (Or BeyondTrust for iOS) from the App Store or Google Play. 

Step 2

After install, open the application and you will see a menus similar to the screenshot below. Please enter supportdesk.uwf.edu for the site name.The Representative over the phone will provide a session key to enter. Press the start button once all information is entered. 

Step 3

Once connected in, it will provide a chat channel. Click on the camera icon in the top right(Android) or at the bottom of the screen (iOS) after the session starts. Their device may prompt to allow camera access, or Bomgar view access to see what the camera shows. This will need to be allowed to proceed.

The Representative will now be able to see what you camera sees using the device's camera.
