What is ArcGIS Online
ArcGIS Online is a cloud-based mapping and analysis solution. You will use this several times throughout your GIS education and learn more about ArcGIS Online in your classes.
Signing into ArcGIS Online
Go to http://pns.maps.arcgis.com. It is recommended to bookmark this page.
You must be enrolled in a GIS class or have access for a special project to sign in.
Select Sign In from the top right of the page. Then click the blue-button "UWF ArgoNet Login". You will use this button to sign in every time and it uses your UWF username and password for your account. If you are currently signed into MyUWF on the same browser, it should automatically sign you in. Otherwise, you will be prompted to sign in with your UWF username and password.
When visiting the main https://www.arcgis.com/index.html site for ArcGIS Online, use the Sign In button at the top right of the page. Click Sign In and then expand "Your ArcGIS organization's URL". Enter pns in the box and click Continue. You will then be shown a blue button displaying the text "UWF ArgoNet Login". If you are currently signed into MyUWF on the same browser, it should automatically sign you in. Otherwise, you will be prompted to sign in with your UWF username and password.
If you check the box next to "save URL" when you log back in, you may have to click a "pns box" in order for the UWF ArgoNet Login box to appear.
Signing into ESRI Training
Go to https://www.esri.com/training/. It is recommended to bookmark this page. You need to have connected with ArcGIS Online at least once before to establish your account.
You must be enrolled in a GIS class or have access for a special project to sign in.
On the top right of the page click the Sign In button and then expand "Your ArcGIS organization's URL". Enter pns in the box and click Continue. You will then be shown a blue button displaying the text "UWF ArgoNet Login". If you are currently signed into MyUWF on the same browser, it should automatically sign you in. Otherwise, you will be prompted to sign in with your UWF username and password.
Signing into ArcGIS StoryMaps
Go to https://storymaps.arcgis.com/ It is recommended to bookmark this page.
You must be enrolled in a GIS class or have access for a special project to sign in.
On the top right of the page click the Sign In button and then expand "Your ArcGIS organization's URL". Enter pns in the box and click Continue. You will then be shown a blue button displaying the text "UWF ArgoNet Login". If you are currently signed into MyUWF on the same browser, it should automatically sign you in. Otherwise, you will be prompted to sign in with your UWF username and password.
