Overview
This page lists information on benefits that are available to retired UWF employees.
Information
- Parking Services - Retired UWF employees are eligible for a non-expiring hang tag.
- Nautilus Card - Retired employees may place funds in their Nautilus Card debit account and use their card to pay for the same campus services as employees.
- Copy Services - Retired employees are allowed to make copies using University Copiers as long as they have an active ArgoNet user name and password. Retired employees will need their Nautilus Card to authenticate their account and pay for copies.
- Library Services - Currently, retired Faculty and Staff continue to have circulation privileges (may check out up to 30 books at a time for a semester and may renew them for one additional loan period). If they still have their Nautilus Card, the Library will update the status of that card and put them into their system. If the retirees no longer have their Nautilus Card, the Library will create a new library card for them. Retirees who have been issued such a card by UWF can use the number on this card to access online databases subscribed to by the library from remote locations (i.e., at home, or any other internet-connected computer). For the purposes of the online database contracts, retirees recognized by the University in such a way become UWF affiliates and are permitted access.
- Retiree’s name will be listed on designated University mailing lists.
- Use of Procurement’s "Go Shopping" for personal computer purchases. Purchases through this page may also include applicable discounts as offered by UWF’s contracted vendors.
- Bookstore—10% discount on purchases excluding textbooks and software. Retired employees should show their Nautilus Card.
- Dining Services—10% discount at the Nautilus Market. Retired employees should show their Nautilus Card.
Athletics, HLS & Events
- Athletic events – Free admission to all regular season Athletics home games on the UWF main campus (excludes football and post-season games). Retired employees should show their Nautilus Card.
- CFPA - Within the Center for Fine & Performing Arts, retired employees get the same benefits of discounted tickets for events that employees receive.
- All retirees receive a free membership to the HLS Facility. Spouses or any household member may receive a membership at the following rates: $35/month, $100/semester, or $250/year.

ITS
- E-mail accounts are available to retirees only if they request one from ITS. Retirees would also receive other benefits of the ArgoNet account, such as local dial–up service, centralized data storage, access to Argus, and wireless connectivity on campus. ITS Help Desk support, via phone, is provided for issues that directly relate to utilizing the above benefits. It does not include support for more elaborate problems such as computer repairs, nor does it cover software purchases or use of university software licenses that cover only current faculty and staff.
