Overview

Below you will find instructions on how to order an official transcript. For specific information related to what appears on an official transcript, please refer to the Transcripts portion of the Undergraduate Academic Catalog. Official transcripts may only be ordered online. 

The University of West Florida has chosen the services of Credentials Solutions in order to provide a web-based transcript service. Credentials Solutions has implemented TranscriptsPlus® as a secure means of ordering transcripts faster and easier than in the past. Payment by credit card is required.  

The Credentials Transcripts Network PDF file format delivery method represents one of the fastest methods for delivering your transcript to the receiving institution. Credentials ONLY offers standard mail delivery when the PDF file format delivery method is not an option for the receiving party. Fed Ex* expedited delivery is offered also (for an additional charge - please see FAQs at the bottom of this page). 

The PDF file format delivery method will prepopulate as the only delivery method for all schools who are participating in the Credentials Transcripts Network. These schools have elected the PDF format as their preferred method of delivery.

The PDF file format delivery method option is also available to third-party recipients*.

*PLEASE NOTE: Credentials will inform the recipient when the transcript is ready to be downloaded and provide instructions for completing the download.

(red star) You assume all responsibility for:

 1. Ensuring that the recipient is willing to accept this transcript in a PDF format.

2. Providing the correct email address for the recipient.

3. Ensuring that this PDF transcript is downloaded within 30 days (No refund will be given).

4. Delays on the part of the recipient in fulfilling his/her responsibilities.

Fed Ex does not deliver to APO/FPO addresses.

e-Transcripts for Florida colleges and universities

Electronic transcripts are the only option for Florida colleges and universities. e-Transcripts arrive faster and are transit trackable.

If your intended recipient's address does not populate, you must manually input the recipient's information (see step 11).

  

 

Instructions

Students (Current and Former)

  1. Go to the Credentials Solutions/Transcripts Plus website OR access the Transcript Request app in MyUWF.
    1. You can also order transcripts by phone; see the Registrar Office's transcript page for more details.  There is a $10 surcharge for phone orders.

  2. Read the Transcript Ordering Overview and Ordering Overview sections before proceeding.

  3. Click Begin Order.



    1. This page will be pre-filled with information provided to UWF. You will not be able to change the pre-filled information. Complete any missing fields. 
      Provide a Telephone number or enter N/A if there is no phone number available. 
      Approximate years of attendance and an email address MUST be provided. You may provide a Cell Phone Number for additional convenience. 
      Click Next.

  4. Complete the Order Options page. Click Next.
    1. You may choose to have a transcript Mailed or prepared for Pick Up.

  5. If the Pick-Up option was selected, you may add the name(s) of the person(s) who may pick up your transcript. 
    This person must provide a photo ID at the time of pick-up. Click Next.

  6. Select the type of recipient and follow the link provided for each option. Please see recipient types below. Click Next.  

     

    Scroll to select recipient's state. Click Next.

    Begin typing name of recipient in the box at the top of the page. A list will populate in the box below that; choose correct institution.

    Then select the appropriate address from the available recipient's table. If you don't see the address listed you have the option to manually type the information.

    Confirm information is correct. Option here to add attachments. Read disclaimer and check box. Click Next.

    Select delivery method and click Next.

    The next page allows you to add and remove recipients. When ready - Click Continue to Order Summary.

    This next screen asks that you review your final order summary. Click Go to Payment.

    Submit payment information - read and agree to the Credentials Transaction Agreement - Click Submit My Order.

    This screen displays the Order Accepted for Processing information. From here, you click either Finish/Close Window or Order Another.

    Select Myself and click Next.

    Review your mailing information for accuracy. Click Cancel if incorrect and Next if correct.

    The next page allows you to add and remove recipients. When ready - Click Continue to Order Summary.

    This next screen asks that you review your final order summary. Click Go to Payment.

    Submit payment information - read and agree to the Credentials Transaction Agreement - Click Submit My Order.

    This screen displays the Order Accepted for Processing information. From here, you click either Finish/Close Window or Order Another.

    Scroll to find and select correct application service. Click Next.

    Complete the requested information, read the disclaimer and check the acknowledgment box. Click Next.

    This next screen asks that you review your final order summary. Click Go to Payment.

    In rare instances, a recipient may provide a specific 7-character code to a individual person. In these cases, once the code is entered, the correct address automatically populates. If you have been given this type of code, you will select the option for "Direct Access Code Lookup" on the Select Recipient Type screen. Follow the screens' directions until the process is complete. If you have any difficulty with this process, please contact a Credential's representative at 847-716-3005.  

    Select Enter Recipient Manually. Click Next.

    Select the recipient type from a list of options and complete the requested information. Then, click Next.

    This next screen asks that you review your final order summary. Click Continue to Order Summary

  7. Upon completing your order with Credentials, you will receive a confirmation.

  8. You will receive two emails. The first email confirms that the order has been sent to The University of West Florida. 
    The Second Email confirms that the transcript order has been completed by the university.

    1. If you have holds that prevent the release of transcripts, you will receive a third email containing information similar to below:

    2. Students who receive this email should resolved their holds as soon as possible in order to have their transcript(s) release in a timely manner.
