This policy sets forth the University of West Florida Identity Theft Prevention Program. The University of West Florida (“University”) established and maintains an Identity Theft Prevention Program (“Program”) pursuant to the Federal Trade Commission’s (“FTC”) Red Flags Rule, which implements Section 114 of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003. The Program was developed for the University with the oversight of the University of West Florida Board of Trustees and was approved by the Board of Trustees on March 6, 2009.
