Overview

Students initially placed on academic suspension may request reinstatement after being away from the University for at least one semester.  Requests to appeal the requirement to stay away from the University for one semester may be considered only for documented serious illness of the student, military orders affecting the student, or death or serious illness of an immediate family member of the student during the semester that resulted in suspension.  Students who have been suspended three times will not be reinstated.  Reinstatement is neither automatic nor guaranteed.
