Prepare for Registration

Now that you are officially admitted to the Germany MBA Program, you'll need to complete the following steps. Once these steps are completed, an MBA Office staff member will register you for your classes.

Step 4 - Submit your DS-2019 Documents

You will need to submit the required documentation in order to be issued a form DS-2019 from the University of West Florida. For help with this process, please contact International Affairs at international@uwf.edu.

Submitting Proof of Identity and Financials for the Issuance of Form I-20s and DS-2019s

Step 5 - Submit your Health Insurance Compliance Form

All international students on an F-1 or J-1 visa are required to have health insurance coverage for the duration of their non-immigrant status in order to register or enroll in class.  Before arrival, all students should submit proof of insurance that meets the State of Florida requirements for international student insurance. Students will need to complete the Health Insurance Compliance Form and email it to international@uwf.edu

Insurance questions should be directed to international@uwf.edu

Step 6 - Submit your UWF Immunization Documents

After activating your MyUWF Account, submit your Mandatory Immunization Health History Form and supporting documentation (if any) by emailing to lnorenberg@uwf.edu. Late, incomplete, or inaccurate information may delay registration.

Please note: UWF will not delay DS2019 processing because of missing immunization documents.

Step 7 - Complete the Financial Responsibility Statement Agreement

After confirming your offer of admission, complete the Financial Responsibility Statement. This is an agreement the University requires every UWF student to acknowledge before being able to register for classes. This can cause confusion for students whose tuition is paid by a third party. Unfortunately, there's no way to avoid this requirement, regardless of a student's method of payment.  Thankfully, it's an easy process!

The MBA Office auto-registers students for their courses based on their degree plans. This process has proven to alleviate students of this added responsibility, allowing you to focus on your coursework. We will continue this process and notify you each semester when the registration process starts and is completed via email.
