Overview
Effective February 3rd, 2025, there will be a 100 GB storage quota enforced on FacStaff H Drives. The following article provides the information you need to know about the storage quota, along with tips and tools to manage your storage.
Checking Storage Usage
On Windows:
From a UWF device on the UWF network:
- Open File Explorer by clicking the icon shown below
- Locate your H drive listed under "Network locations" (it should automatically be mapped to your device):
- Right click on the H drive and select "Properties"
- Your current storage usage will be shown next to "Used space"
- Please note that as the 100GB quota is not yet enforced, the "Free space" shown will appear significantly higher than what will be available after February 3rd
On MacOS:
- First, follow the instructions listed on Network Drive Mapping for Mac to connect to your H drive
- Once the H drive is mapped, Command + Click on the folder and select "Get Info"
- Your current storage usage will be shown under "Used" as shown below
