Becoming Eligible for the Refresher Course

Before you can take the refresher course, you must obtain a You must first have obtained a Knowledge Worker Certification. Upon completion of the Knowledge Worker CertificationThereafter (around 9 months later), you will have one year be eligible to take the refresher course to maintain your Knowledge Worker Certification. A reminder email will be sent to all Certified Knowledge Workers 3 months prior to the their certification expiring. You will be eligible to take the course again each year after receiving this message. 

Taking the Course

Step 1 - Signing Up

1. Navigate to the SCOOP app in MyUWF. 
2. Under "Roles and Certifications" click the "EligibleCurrent" tab. 
3. Click the link for the Certified Knowledge Worker Annual Refresher. 
4. Upon clicking the link, you will be enrolled and passed through into the course located within Canvas.

Your certification should appear in SCOOP within an hour90 minutes. If your certification does not show as complete within an hour90 minutes, please contact the ITS Help Desk at (850) 474-2075. Your Knowledge Worker Annual Refresher certification will remain valid for one year after the completion date of this training. You will receive a reminder email 3 months prior to the expiration of the certification. At the time the email is received, you will be eligible to take the training again. This cycle will repeat annually.
