Insurance fees are due IN FULL by the payment deadline.
Insurance fees are not eligible for a payment plan.
- Students who sign up for a payment plan, you have to MUST make an additional payment for just insurance.
- Students can pay their entire semester bill in full by the semester deadline OR they will need to take additional action.
- Students can make insurance-only payments at the UWF Cashiers Office using cash, check, or money order.
- If a student wants to make a payment by card in Transact (formerly CashNet) and apply the payment directly to the insurance fees, the student must contact UWF Financial Services/Cashiers Office ON THE DAY OF THE PAYMENT to request the payment be applied to Insurance first.
- Send an email to stuacct@uwf.edu with your name, UWF ID number, and that you want to apply the payment to the insurance fee.
- Students making payments by International Funds Transfer MUST complete all payment steps before the payment deadline to avoid late fees or being dropped from classes for nonpayment of the insurance fee.
- Students who have not paid their insurance fees in full by the payment deadline will not be allowed to continue studying in the current semester. Insurance is a requirement for international students to study at UWF.
- Class registration will be dropped.
- Students will have 3 business days to pay the insurance fee and follow course registration reinstatement (and pay additional penalty fees for reinstatement).
- Students who do not make course registration reinstatement will have their student visa status terminated for failure to meet/maintain enrollment requirements as an international student at UWF.
