UWF Wireless Networks: Which One Should I Use?
The University of West Florida provides multiple wireless networks (SSIDs) to meet different needs. Here’s a quick overview to help you choose the right one:
uwf-argo-air
Who can use it?
Faculty, staff, and students.
Purpose:
Connect your personal (BYOD) devices such as laptops, smartphones, or tablets for full access to UWF’s network and internet.

eduroam
Who can use it?
Faculty, staff, and students.
Purpose:
Secure, world-wide roaming access. Connect once at UWF and you can use eduroam at thousands of participating institutions around the world using your UWF credentials.

UWF Guest
Who can use it?
Campus visitors, conference attendees, or special event guests.
Purpose:
Provides self-service guest access for up to 12 hours at a time.
How to connect:
Guests can follow our UWF Guest Wireless Instructions to self-register and get online.. For large events or special arrangements, submit a request to ITS.

Blocked Technologies & Geographic Restrictions
