Overview

Qualtrics Research Suite is a web-based survey tool available to UWF faculty, staff, and students.

Accessing Qualtrics

Step 1

Log in to MyUWF at my.uwf.edu.

Step 2

Search for "Qualtrics".

Step 3

Click on the Qualtrics app.

Step 4

Click "Continue to Qualtrics"

New Qualtrics Insight Platform

Transitioning to the new Qualtrics Insight Platform

The next time you login to Qualtrics, you will notice the image below. You will be prompted to Experience the Qualtrics Insight Platform, Learn More, or Dismiss. On June 7, 2016, users will automatically transition to the new Qualtrics Insight Platform. There are also training videos for the new Qualtrics Insight Platform at http://support.qualtrics.com/

If you would like to try the new platform, click on the Experience the Qualtrics Insight Platform. 

Reverting back to the original Qualtrics layout (until June 7, 2016). 

Step 1

If you choose to experience the Qualtrics Insight Platform, you can revert back to the original layout by clicking on the profile icon in the top right corner of the Qualtrics Insight Platform site. And then click, Leave the Qualtrics Insight Platform as shown below. Again, users will only be able to transition back to the original Qualtrics layout until June 7, 2016.


Step 2

Click on Leave the Qualtrics Insight Platform. 

Training

  • For new users, you can get an overview of the software by visiting the Getting Started links for the current Qualtrics layout or training videos for the new Qualtrics Insight Platform at http://support.qualtrics.com/.
  • Qualtrics also provides a tutorial to learn the basics in 5 quick steps at Learning Qualtrics in 5 Steps.
  • Tutorials, webinars and help documentation are available from Qualtrics as part of Qualtrics University.
  • Please visit Live Training Webinars for dates and times on different training topics, such as, Getting Started with Qualtrics, Advanced Survey Building, and Reporting.  
  • Employees may look for classroom based training opportunities at UWF through the Training Reservation Desk app in MyUWF.  Students may check the ITS Workshops website for classroom based training opportunities.

Support

  • Qualtrics is supported on the following web browsers: Internet Explorer 7+, Firefox 3+, Safari 4+ and Chrome 2+.
  • If you have questions about how to use Qualtrics or are experiencing technical difficulties, you may open a ticket with Qualtrics by:
    • Logging into Qualtrics, scrolling over to the top right corner and clicking on "Support & Feedback".  Fill in the required details and click submit. 
    • Emailing support@qualtrics.com or calling 1-800-340-9194 between 7 am - 7 pm Central Time. 
  • If you are a student, faculty, or staff and have difficulty accessing Qualtrics, please contact the ITS Help Desk at (850) 474-2075.

FAQs

Qualtrics Training FAQs

 

When your primary UWF email address changes and you log into Qualtrics, you will notice that you no longer see your surveys. If this happens, please contact the ITS Help Desk immediately for assistance.

If you repeatedly collaborate with the same group of individuals, a Qualtrics administrator can set up a Qualtrics Group for you. This will enable you to search only for the group that contain the users for collaboration purposes. These requests are only accepted for groups of 5 users or more. Please email your request to helpdesk@uwf.edu. In the request, include the UWF Argonet username of each user and the requested name of your group. Please allow up to 72 hours for the request to be processed.

Employees may check if any Qualtrics training sessions are available by visiting the Training Reservation Desk app in MyUWF.  Students may check the ITS Workshops website for classroom based training opportunities.

Note: To copy a survey to another user account, you must include the full username. The username for students will be their student email address followed by #uwf (ex. abc123@students.uwf.edu#uwf). The username for faculty/staff will be their facultyu/staff email address followed by #uwf (jdoe@uwf.edu#uwf).
