To connect your Chromebook to the eduroam wireless network, follow the steps below:

  • Click the status area in the lower-right corner of your screen.

  • Click on the networks button in the upper left corner of the status tray.

  • Select eduroam from the list of available Wi-Fi networks.

  • Ensure your EAP method, EAP Phase 2 authentication, and Server CA certificate settings all match the image below.

  • Scroll down, and enter your UWF email address and password in the appropriate fields.  Ensure the "Save identity and password" toggle is enabled, and click Connect.

  • Once done, your status area and tray should both show you're connected.


Please Note: If you change your ArgoNet password after connecting to Eduroam, you must forget the Eduroam Network prior to reconnecting. 

To forget the eduroam wireless network on your Chromebook, follow the steps below:

  • As described in the previous section, click the status area in the lower-right corner of your screen, and then click on the networks button in the upper left corner of the status tray.

  • Select eduroam from the list of available Wi-Fi networks.

  • Doing so will open the Settings app, and you can choose to Forget the eduroam network from this screen.
