Overview

The first time you access ArgoApps you will be prompted to install the Citrix Receiver. The following instructions will guide you through downloading and installing the required software to use ArgoApps. Alternatively, you can also download the Citrix Receiver from the Citrix downloads page.

Instructions

Windows

If Citrix Receiver is not already installed, you will receive a message prompting you to download and install Citrix Receiver.

  1. Click the 'Install' button after checking the acknowledging the license agreement.


  2. The installer needs downloaded and installed, click the 'Run' or 'Open' button to begin the download.


  3. If you receive a prompt asking for permission to continue, click 'Yes'.

     
  4. The installer should open, click the 'Start' button to begin installation.




  5. You do not need to check or enable 'Single Sign-on'.


  6. You can accept the default choice for "Help make our products better..."


  7. Citrix Receiver should begin installing and finish in a few minutes.




  8. You should now be able to proceed with logging into ArgoApps.

  2. Once the installer is downloaded, click the 'Open' button on the downloaded file "CitrixReceiverWeb.exe" to begin the installation.

  5. You do not need to check or enable 'Single Sign-on'.


  6. You can accept the default choice for "Help make our products better..."


  7. Citrix Receiver should begin installing and finish in a few minutes.




  8. You should now be able to proceed with logging into ArgoApps.
  9. If you get receive an 'External Protocol Request' when accessing UWF Virtual Apps & Desktops main page or when attempting to launch an app or desktop, click 'Remember my choice...' and 'Launch Application'.

Mac

If Citrix Receiver is not already installed, you may receive a message prompting you to download and install Citrix Receiver. If you are not prompted you may download the Citrix Receiver from the Citrix downloads page.

  1. After clicking 'Install' you may receive a message about opening a type of file, you can click cancel to that message.




  2. Click the 'Install' button or 'Download' button after checking the acknowledging the license agreement.



  3. Once the installer is downloaded, click the 'Open' button on the downloaded file "CitrixReceiverWeb.dmg" to begin the installation.


  4. Double-click the 'Install Citrix Receiver' icon to being installation.

     
  5. The installer should open. Click 'continue' and go through the installer until it completes.




  6. You should now be able to proceed with logging into ArgoApps.
  7. If you get receive a warning regarding opening 'Citrix Receiver' for the first time, click 'Open'.


  8. When launching an app or desktop, a file may be downloaded which will launch the app or desktop. You must open that file (it should look similar to the below screenshot).
     

iOS

  1. Install the Citrix Receiver app from the Apple App Store.

  2. Once installed, click "Add Account", type in the server name argoapps.uwf.edu for the address, and click "Next".


  3. When prompted for your credentials, enter your ARGONET username and password. For the domain enter "ARGONET" as shown in the screenshot below.

     
  4. You should now be able to select from the available applications on the left side by tapping the "+" icon.
  1. Install the Citrix Receiver app from the Apple App Store.

  2. Once installed, click "Add Account", type in the server name argoapps.uwf.edu for the address, and click "Next".


  3. When prompted for your credentials, enter your ARGONET username and password. For the domain enter "ARGONET" as shown in the screenshot below.

     
  4. You should now be able to select from the available applications on the left side by tapping the "+" icon.

Other

  1. Install the Citrix Receiver app from the Chrome Web Store
     
     


  2. Once installed it should automatically open Citrix Receiver where you will have to provide a server address of https://argoapps.uwf.edu


  3. When prompted for your credentials, enter your ARGONET username and password.
