Overview

Below you will find instructions on how to order an official transcript. For specific information related to what appears on an official transcript, please refer to the Transcripts portion of the Undergraduate Academic Catalog.

Effective July 1, 2014, official transcripts may only be ordered online.

The University of West Florida has chosen the services of Credentials Solutions in order to provide a web-based transcript service. Credentials Solutions has implemented TranscriptsPlus® as a secure means of ordering transcripts faster and easier than in the past. Payment by credit card is required. The Credentials Transcripts Network PDF File Format delivery method represents one of the fastest methods for delivering your transcript to the receiving institution. In addition, Credentials offers standard delivery and Fed Ex* for expedited delivery (for an additional charge).

*Fed Ex does not deliver to APO/FPO addresses.

The PDF file format delivery method will populate as an option for all schools who are participating in the Credentials Transcripts Network.  

The PDF delivery method option is also available to third-party recipients.

PLEASE NOTE: Credentials will inform the recipient when the transcript is ready to be downloaded and provide instructions for completing the download.

You assume all responsibility for:

 1. Ensuring that the recipient is willing to accept this transcript in a PDF format.

2. Providing the correct email address for the recipient

3. Ensuring that this PDF transcript is downloaded within 30 days (No refund will be given)

4. Delays on the part of the recipient in fulfilling his/her responsibilities.

Electronic transcripts are the only option for Florida colleges and universities. e-Transcripts arrive faster and are transit trackable. If your intended recipient's address does not populate, you must manually input the recipient's information (see step 11).

Instructions

Students (Current and Former)

  1. Go to the Credentials Solutions/Transcripts Plus website OR access the Transcript Request app in MyUWF.
    1. You can also order transcripts by phone; see the Registrar Office's transcript page for more details.  There is a $10 surcharge for phone orders.
  2. Read the Transcript Ordering Overview and Ordering Overview sections before proceeding.
  3. Click the Start My Order button.


    1. This page will be pre-filled with information provided to UWF. You will not be able to change the pre-filled information.


    2. Complete any missing fields.
  4. Click on Next to continue with your order.
    1. Provide a Telephone number or enter N/A if there is no phone number available. An Email Address MUST be provided.
    2. You May provide a Cell Phone Number for additional convenience.


  5. When all information is completed, click Next.
  6. Complete the Basic Order Information and make changes to the default settings, approximate years of attendance is required.
    1. You may choose to have a transcript Mailed or prepared for Pick Up.


  7. Click NEXT to proceed.
    1. If the Pick-Up option was selected, you may add the name(s) of the person(s) who may pick up your transcript.


  8. Click on the type of recipient and follow the link that may be provided for each option. 
    1. You can choose to have a transcript sent to one of the options below, see next steps for information pertaining to each different recipient.
  9. After choosing Recipient, click Next to proceed.





  10. If all information is correct click Next to proceed. 
    1. If you need to change the order click on Cancel This Recipient and you will be able to start the order again.


  11. You may choose to have the transcript sent electronically or have a hard copy mailed or Federal Express.
    1. For orders sent to Florida colleges and universities, an electronic transcript is the only option.
      1. If your intended recipient's address does not populate, you must manually input the recipient's information:
    2. Manually enter the recipient address.
    3. After confirming the Method of Delivery click Next to proceed.
  12. You may add up to 5 recipients for a single order. When you have completed your order click Next.








  13. You will receive two emails. The first email confirms that the order has been sent to The University of West Florida. The Second Email confirms that the transcript order has been completed by the university.


    1. If you have holds that prevent the release of transcripts, you will receive a third email containing information similar to below:


    2. Students who receive this email should resolved their holds as soon as possible in order to have their transcript(s) release in a timely manner.
