The following page outlines the retention rules applied to data collected in the Zoom Phone app which has not already been deleted by a user where applicable.

  • AI transcripts follow the Call Summaries retention policy.
  • Call Summary retention periods must be equal to or shorter than call log retention periods and follow the same hierarchical lock mechanisms across organizational levels. When summaries are deleted by the retention policy, they are permanently removed, with the summary file ID remaining in call logs to indicate previous existence.
