Gmail now allows users to express themselves quickly by reacting to emails with emojis such as 👍, ❤️, 🎉, and more. This feature is available on Android, iOS, and web platforms.
On Desktop: Open the email, click "Add emoji reaction" at the top or bottom of the message, and select your emoji.
On Mobile: Open the email, tap "Add emoji reaction," choose your emoji, and it will appear at the bottom of the email.
Group Emails: Reactions can't be sent if the email was received via a Google Group alias or if there's a Google Group on the recipient list.
Third-Party Email Clients: Reactions may not display correctly if you open the email in third-party clients like Apple Mail or Microsoft Outlook.
BCC Recipients: You can't react to emails where you're in the BCC field.
Large Distribution Lists: Reactions aren't supported for emails sent to more than 20 recipients.
Custom Reply-To Addresses: Reactions may not work if the sender has a custom reply-to address.
