In collaboration with the Provost's Office, the Office of Career Development & Community Engagement will recognize on UWF faculty member per college who has established sustained, mutually beneficial partnerships with community organizations. Through teaching, research or scholarship, and/or service, the recipient demonstrates a meaningful connection between academic work and real-world impact beyond the campus—advancing the public good and supporting UWF’s mission as a community-engaged institution.

Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Eligibility:

• Any UWF faculty member
• Community engagement activities must be directly related to the nominee’s teaching, research/scholarship, or service

Selection Criteria:

• Nominees will be evaluated based on the extent to which they demonstrate:
• Community Engaged Scholarship- Evidence of integrating community engagement into teaching, research, and/or service in ways that contribute to learning and address community needs.
• Sustained & Mutually Beneficial Partnerships- Ongoing collaboration with community partners characterized by mutual benefit, co-creation, and shared outcomes.
• Alignment with Institutional Mission- Advances UWF goals related to community engagement and public impact.
• Award winners will be selected by the UWF Community Engagement Coordinating Committee.
