Yuja is a video platform that is integrated with Canvas. This page will provide information and resources on Yuja. Yuja will replace Panopto beginning in May 2025.

Yuja is a video platform integrated in Canvas that is available to faculty, staff, and students. Yuja can be utilized for video capture, editing, and management. Yuja provides several advanced features including accessibility, editing, quizzing, publishing. Yuja provides 24/7 live support for users

Important Dates

March 19, 2025 - Yuja was turned on in Canvas.
(Tentative) May 7-9, 2025 - Panopto Videos will be transitioned to Yuja.
(Tentative) May 7, 2025 - Access to Panopto will be removed from Canvas but available at https://uwf.hosted.panopto.comLinks to an external site until July 28th.
June 28, 2025 - The Panopto contract ends.

The decision to transition from Panopto to Yuja was based on the criteria below. The number of recurring and unresolved problems with Panopto was also a deciding factor.
