For Fall 2020 Student Teachers: 

For students who are unable to pass all of the Florida Teacher Certification Exams (FTCEs) by the August 1 deadline, you will be permitted to student teach pending the completion of the Fall 2020 Emergency Student Teaching Appeal Verification Form. 

1. Access the form verifying you are accepting the conditions of the student teaching appeal: (insert link here)
2. Complete the form by checking each box, upload any needed files, and electronically signing. 

Note: If you have any questions, please contact your assigned academic advisor. 

3. Advisors will compile a list of students who have fully completed the form and will share this list with the Assistant Director of Field Placement. 

For Fall 2020 Students Waiving the GK Requirement for One Semester: 

1. Advisors will email student the link to the form. 
2. Students complete the form by reading and checking each box, then electronically signing.
