Overview

Summer services will be available starting Monday, May 18, 2020. 

Individual and group tutoring is available for the classes listed below. Courses offered are based on demand. New courses may be added throughout the semester. If your course is not offered or available times do not work with your schedule, please contact us at 850.474.3176 or tutoring@uwf.edu to request additional tutoring options. Tutors support students in understanding the content of their courses by guiding them through important concepts and common practice problems. During both a scheduled appointment and a walk-in session, tutors can assist in clarifying textbook chapters, reviewing study guides, understanding difficult ideas, developing vocabulary, and much more. Please note that tutors are not able to provide assistance on ungraded homework assignments.

Service and availability updates: 

Due to the transition to online instruction, tutoring is currently only available by scheduled appointment. 

All tutoring sessions will be held virtually through the Summer 2020 term. Services will be conducted using Cisco Webex, which is available via your MyUWF. Please see the Webex Meetings Quick Start Guide for more information about using Cisco Webex. In the appointment confirmation email, you will receive the link to use for your tutoring session (at the appointment day/time) when you schedule your tutoring appointment in Navigate.
