Instructors, Office Admins, and Syllabus Admins can upload PDF files as syllabi for their courses. |
Access the Syllabus App through MyUWF, and select "Upload" from the menu in the header. Only faculty and staff who are designated as an Instructor of Record in Banner, or are designated as Office Admins or Syllabus Admins may access this portion of the App.
There are three ways to gain permission to upload a syllabus for a course.
Create a course syllabus in PDF format. Only PDF files may be uploaded using the Syllabus App.
In most word processing applications, a PDF is created by selecting "print" from the "file" menu and then choosing "print to PDF" as the printer type.
Using the search UI at the top of the App, select a semester and enter a course number. In the screenshot below, ANT4905 for Summer 2019 has been selected.
Note that some of the sections for this course have already had a syllabus file uploaded. If a syllabus file has been uploaded, a button labeled "download" will be visible to the right of the course. In this case, a new syllabus file may still be uploaded for this course. It will overwrite the older file, and the older file will no longer be available to students.
Click the button labeled, "upload." A dialog box will appear as shown below:
Click the button labeled, "Choose File" and select a file to upload. Only PDF files may be selected.
Click the button labeled, "Upload" and wait while the file is uploaded and attached to the selected course.
