Overview

At the time of initial registration, students may change the grade mode of a course which has multiple grading options. Students wishing to change the Grade Mode of a course after registering should complete the Grade Mode Change Request form.

Changing the grade mode of a course could affect enrollment status, financial aid, etc. Please check with all appropriate offices before changing the grade mode of a course.

Different grade modes may have different time frames in which students may opt to return to a Standard Letter Grade for the course.

Grade Mode Options

Depending on the course, students may have the option to select Pass/Fail and/or Audit grade mode options. If the desired grade mode option does not appear in Step 2 below, then that grade mode is not an option for the course.

Changing Grade Modes During Registration

  1. Select the hyper-linked grade mode (if it is not a hyperlink, then there are no other available grade modes for the course).
  2. Select the grade mode you wish to choose for the course from the drop-down box.



  3. Click Submit Changes.
