Welcome!

This page houses all official University policies.  Here, you can:

  • browse active policies by category 
  • view active policies that have been recently added or modified
  • view draft policies that are currently out for public comment
  • view policies that have been rescinded in the last 5 years
  • search all draft, active and rescinded policies

Search all policies

Search tips:

  • The search looks for keyword matches in the title and body of the policy
  • To search for a policy by the policy number, please enter the entire policy number in double quotes.  Example: "IT-03.01-02/12"

  • A page must have a uwf-policy label on it (in either the UP or BPL space) to qualify for being included in the search

  • The site is designed to allow all draft, active, and repealed policies to be searched

  • Pages with extra restrictions will only return in the search results for the users who are allowed to see them

Browse tips:

  • A page merely needs to be listed under the category to show (it does not care about labels)
  • Pages with extra restrictions will only return in the browse results for the users who are allowed to see them
  • Excerpts cannot be included if links are used in the excerpt (hard to read, and links don't work)

Recent Policy Changes

These policies were either repealed, revised or newly adopted within the last 30 days. They are also available via the policy search. (These pages also have the uwf-policy-recent label in addition to the uwf-policy label, which is what makes them show up in this section. Once the 30-day "notice" period has expired, just remove the uwf-policy-recent label.)

Draft Policies Currently Under Review

These policies have the uwf-policy label on them and are children of the "Draft Polices" page. so they will also come back in the search results, and therefore should also have "DRAFT" in their names. They will not appear in the "Browse Policies by Category" until they are officially moved there.

Repealed Policies

These policies have the uwf-policy label on them, so they will also come back in the search results, and therefore should also have "repealed" in their names. Repealed policies will be available for 5 years and then moved to "Archived Policies". Once in "Archived Policies", they will no longer be available for searching by the UWF Community.
