Abstract

The University of West Florida (the “University”) is dedicated to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all who interact in our community. In continuing to build and maintain a diverse environment, the University strives to attract students, faculty, and staff from a variety of cultures, backgrounds, and life experiences. The University is committed to ensuring that each member of the University Community is permitted to work and study in an environment that is free from unlawful Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation.

The primary policy governing Discrimination and Harassment based on sex and associated claims of retaliation is University Policy P-14, Sexual Harassment and Misconduct, which addresses such claims within the Title IX context. When a claim of sex-based Discrimination or retaliation does not fall within the scope of University Policy P-14, then this Policy shall govern such claims.
