About your Voluntary Meal/Block Plan


If the mandatory meal plan is not required but you would like to purchase a meal plan, you may voluntarily purchase the plan of your choice online via MyUWF, Meal Plan Purchases & Nautilus Card Deposits app.

If you wish to use excess Financial Aid funds to purchase a voluntary meal plan, you may Request to Purchase a Voluntary Meal Plans or Block Plan with Excess Financial Aid online via MyUWF, Voluntary Meal Plan app.

All meal and block plans are available to all students for voluntary purchase. To view the plans for the current academic year, visit DineOnCampus > Meal Plans > For Commuters.



How to use a Meal Plan

The student’s specified number of meal swipes (12 or 15) are available in the Nautilus Market UWF’s all-you-care-to-eat and meal plan dining facility located in the Commons, building 22.

There are three meal periods per day Monday through Friday (Breakfast: 7:15-10:30am; Lunch: 10:31am-4:00pm; Dinner: 4:01-9:00pm, Mon-Thurs; 4:01-7:00pm on Fri) and two meal periods per day Saturday and Sunday (Brunch: 11:00am-4:00pm; Dinner: 4:01- 7:00pm). You may use one meal swipe from your meal plan during each meal period. (Meal periods do not apply to the Unlimited Meal Plan or Block Plans.)

To-go meals options are available with all meal plans, except the Unlimited Meal Plan. 

Meal Plan participants with the Argo 12 or Argo 15 receive 2 free meal swipes each semester that can be used to pay for guest meals. A free guest meal swipe must be used at the same time as a regular swipe. 

Dining Dollars are flexible dollars that may be used at any UWF campus dining venue. 

Meal Plans expire at the end of each semester. Dining Dollars rollover Fall to Spring to Summer and expires at the end Summer semester. To check your Meal Plan swipes or Dining Dollar balances, simply ask the cashier or go to MyUWF > Nautilus Card Balance and Swipe History app. 

How to use an Unlimited Meal Plan

Unlimited swipes are available in the Nautilus Market, UWF’s all-you-care-to-eat and meal plan dining facility located in the Commons, building 22. Meal periods do not apply. 

To-go options are not available with this plan. 

Meal Plans expire at the end of each semester.

To check your Meal Plan swipe balance, simply ask the cashier or go the MyUWF > Nautilus Card Balance and Swipe History app. 

How to use a Block Plan

The block number of swipes are available in the Nautilus Market UWF’s all-you-care-to-eat and meal plan dining facility located in the Commons, building 22. Meal Periods do not apply. 

To-go options are available with block plans. 

Block Plans expire at the end of each semester.  Dining Dollars rollover Fall to Spring to Summer and expires at the end Summer semester.

To check your Block Plan swipes or Dining Dollar balances, simply go to MyUWF > Nautilus Card Balance and Swipe History app. 


Dining Dollars

 

Dining Dollars are flexible dollars that come with each meal/ block plan (except the Unlimited options) and are accepted like cash in all dining locations. We recommend using your Dining Dollars to grab a snack between meals or to purchase meals at campus dining venues other than the Nautilus Market. Unused Dining Dollars rollover Fall to Spring to Summer and expire at the end of Summer. 

How to Purchase - With Debit/Credit Card (OR) With Excess Financial Aid (see instructions for both below)

Purchase a Voluntary Meal Plan with Debit/Credit Card

1.  Log in to MyUWF

2. Search for “Meal Plan Purchase”

3. Click on “Meal Plan Purchases & Nautilus Card Deposits” app

4. You will be taken to OneWeb. Log In to OneWeb.

5. The first screen after login is the Personal Information screen. Here, you will select "Add Cash".

6. Enter your email address and the amount of the deposit you wish to make. If the meal plan cost is over $999, you will have to make multiple deposits to your Nautilus Card as the maximum deposit allowed is $999.

7. Enter your Debit/Credit Card information. (Cards accepted: MC, VISA, and Discover; Convenience fee of 2.5% incurred) E-checks are also accepted. ($1.49 transaction fee applies)

8. Purchase your Meal Plan using your Nautilus Card (button shown on screen will be named OneCard).

9. Pay for your Meal Plan or Block Plan.

10. If you have sufficient funds in your Nautilus Card account to purchase the Meal or Block Plan you selected, the purchase will go through. If you do not have sufficient funds in your Nautilus Card account, you will receive the following message.

Purchase a Voluntary Meal Plan with Excess Financial Aid

This is only a valid option prior to Financial Aid being disbursed.

1.  Log in to MyUWF

2. Search for “meal plan”. Select "Meal Plan Using Excess Financial Aid" app.



3. The meal plans you have funds to cover will populate the form as options to purchase.

FAQs


No, but you may add funds to your Nautilus Card declining balance account via MyUWF (convenience fee applies), one of the ADMs located around campus or at the Commons Service Desk (no convenience fee). These funds can then be used anywhere on campus, including Dining Services and they roll over from semester to semester. 


Each semester, meal and block plans begin the first day of Housing check-in and run through the last day of finals for that semester.


Yes, you can change your meal or block plan. Contact the Nautilus Card office (idcard@uwf.edu or 850.474.3324) during the first 2 weeks after the start of classes or after the date you purchased the plan, whichever is later.
