General Info
Golf Cart and Other Motorized Cart Safety Training
All golf carts and motorized carts must be operated safely on University property to reduce accidents, incidents, and injuries related to the operation of golf carts/motorized carts. The Office of Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) is responsible for providing ongoing education and resources related to the safe operation of golf carts and other motorized carts. EH&S has put together an online training certification course, operating procedures and annual inspection checklist.
Who needs training? How often?
All UWF employees that have the potential to operate a motorized cart (golf cart or utility vehicle) must complete the Motorized Cart Training once and training must be completed before operating a motorized cart on UWF property.
