The following instructions will assist with adding a student Gmail account to the Gmail app on an Android device.
Add an account
If you’d like to add your student Gmail Account your Gmail app, follow these steps:
- Open the Gmail app.
- Touch the menu on the top left.
- At the top, touch the down arrow to the right of your username.
- Touch Add account.
- Select Google account.
- Follow the steps on the screen to add your account. You will utilize your full email address (username@students.uwf.edu) and your ArgoNet password to set up the account.
- After the account has been added, other Google services, such as the Calendar, will automatically be synced to your device.
Switch between accounts
Messages on the Gmail app stay separate for each separate account. To switch between accounts:
- Open the Gmail app.
- Touch the menu on the top left.
- At the top left, touch the smaller circle representing the account you want to switch to.
