Overview

Google Drive File Stream is an application that allows you to access your Google Drive as if it were a local drive on your computer. This application is available in ArgoApps to help you have access to your files anywhere on or off-campus.

Instructions

Step 1

Locate the Google Drive app in ArgoApps.

Click to launch the app. You should see a window indicating you are logging in. Please allow this window to complete.

Step 2

Once done, you will be taken to a Windows Explorer window.

Example of How to Access Google Drive in Another Program

If you are signed into Google Drive, you can access this drive letter within any app in ArgoApps. 

Accessing Google Drive in SPSS

In this example, you would select "Google Drive File Stream (E:)".

FAQs

Yes. Please note that you will be unable to access any files with the following extensions:

  • .gsheet
  • .gdoc
  • .gdraw
  • .gform
  • .gslides

These files are accessible in the Google Drive web interface outside of ArgoApps.
