FIN-12.01-04/20 - Use of UWF Licensed Marks The UWF Collegiate Licensing Program is the vehicle through which the university grants permission for the use of the University's marks. Any manufacturer of products bearing any University of West Florida mark, including items not for resale, must be properly licensed before offering such goods for sale. Please keep in mind that licensed vendors are required to submit artwork containing any UWF mark(s) to CLC for approval prior to sale. UWF departments placing orders from licensed vendors should plan to allow time for the approval process, normally one to two days. UWF community seeking seeking vendors who are licensed with UWF will find current lists on the UWF Licensed Vendorsinstructions for accessing the Licensee Search below. UWF Logo(s) Use webpage. For information regarding logos or other brand-related questions for internal campus use, please consult should be directed to the UWF Brand Portal or Institutional Communications, at brand@uwf.edu for more information or to obtain artwork. The following instructions are available to assist the University community in knowing how to find the list of vendors who are a vendor who is licensed and may be used for the purchase of goods bearing a UWF mark. This list is updated on a monthly basis by Business & Auxiliary Services marketing. |
Instructions
There are 3 Options of how to get to the UWF Licensed Vendors lists online.
OPTION 1
Step 1
Open your browser. Type in the URL, "uwf.edu/licensing" then Enter.
Step 2
You will be taken to the Licensing Overview page. Click on "UWF Licensed Vendors" in the left navigation (see below).
You will be taken to a page that looks like the screen shot below.
Step 3
Click on the appropriate Licensee listing as needed. Here you will see the list of current licensed vendors for UWF. This is a PDF.
OPTION 2
Step 1
Open your browser and go to uwf.edu. Type "licensing" in the Search field (see below), then Enter.
Step 2
Click on Licensing Overview (see below).
Step 3
Click on "UWF Licensed Vendors" in the left navigation (see below).
You will be taken to a page that looks like the screen shot below.
Step 4
Click on the appropriate Licensee listing as needed. Here you will see the list of current licensed vendors for UWF. This is a PDF.
OPTION 3
Step 1
Go to google.com.
Step 2
Enter "UWF Licensing". You should see something similar to the screen shot below.
Step 3
Click on UWF Licensed Vendors. You will be taken to a page that looks like the screen shot below.
Step 4
Click on the appropriate Licensee listing as needed. Here you will see the list of current licensed vendors for UWF. This is a PDF.

Vendors should visit the CLC.com website and select the “Get Licensed” tab to apply for a license. The CLC contact information for businesses interested in becoming licensed to produce UWF merchandise is Licensing@CLC.com or 770-956-0520. Vendors will have access to the UWF licensed marks after they have completed the licensing registration process. Current licensees, please note that Learfield Licensing merged with CLC in 2019 and is now known as CLC. |
