Overview

Excerpt

All departmentalUWF students, employee, and student ArgoNet accounts created after May 4, 2017 no longer include a web drive. Departmental and employee Web (I) drives that existed before December 4, 2017 are no longer accessible from the Internet in their previous location. This change ensured that UWF takes all necessary measures to maintain ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) compliance. Content published to the CMS, Google Sites/Drive, or Confluence was not affected.

What happened to the files on my departmental or employee Web (I) drive that existed before May 4, 2017?

Files on the Web (I) drive were moved to your Home (H) drive if you did not elect to retain web publishing.

My Web (I) drive no longer exists, but I still would like to use one for web publishing. Can an exception be made?

You must contact the ITS Help Desk to request that your Web (I) drive be accessible from the Internet at the new location.

You may start accessing your content immediately at the new web address, after your request has been approved.  The new web address for your web drive would be pages.uwf.edu/username (Example: pages.uwf.edu/jdoe).

Your web drive must be compliant with FERPA and ADA. Please see Online Content Considerations for

faculty, and staff options for publishing content on the web.

UWF resources should be used for UWF or academic purposes only.  See UWF Computing Resources Usage Agreement for more details.
