Student's needing proof of enrollment for VA purposes or insurance purposes may follow these steps:
- After add/drop students may request proof of enrollment by searching 'Enrollment Certification Request' under their MyUWF, example below:
Once here, select 'Obtain an enrollment certificate.' Ensure 'Current enrollment' is also selected, example below:
Your proof of enrollment will download automatically. NOTE: This is only available after Add/drop for the term(s) enrolled in.
2. Student's looking for Enrollment Verification Letter before add/drop may email mvrc@uwf.edu. Please provide us with the following information:

The Montgomery GI Bill Selected Reserve (MGIB-SR) program offers up to 36 months of education and training benefits. Monthly Enrollment Verification To receive your monthly housing, you must verify your enrollment at the end of each month of enrollment. You can verify your enrollment online by following this link: https://www.va.gov/education/verify-school-enrollment. Monthly Pay Rate
- Chapter 1606 (Reserve GI Bill) students will be responsible for making all payments to the school for tuition & fees, housing fees, and meal plans. The VA will send their funding directly to the account listed when the VA application is completed.
- Ch. 1606 students are eligible for a deferment each semester which may be requested when completing their VA Enrollment Certification Form (ECF).
- Be advised, deferments will only defer tuition costs. Any outstanding housing fees and meal plans will be the students responsibility to pay.
