Every student and employee at UWF receives an I: drive; anything Along with H drives, some employees also have I: drives. Anything saved on the I: drive is posted to the Internet. For example, if a student named John Doe employee Jane Roe (ArgoNet account: jdd2jroe) saves his her web page as a file named resumecv.htm on his her I: drive, it is then available at http://studentspages.uwf.edu/jdd2jroe/resumecv.htm. If the webpage were saved within a subfolder named "jobsearchcareer", " the web address would be http:;//studentspages.uwf.edu/jdd2jroe/jobsearchcareer/resumecv.htm. |

All new departmental, employee, and student ArgoNet accounts do not include web drives. This ensures that UWF takes all necessary measures to maintain ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) compliance on all content hosted on UWF webpages. Webpage Construction
Webpages are composed of computer code called HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language). Rather than typing HTML code, most people choose to create webpages using a graphical HTML editor. These programs work similar to word processing programs like Microsoft Word, making website creation easier, especially for those who are unfamiliar with HTML.
