A "student service" is the name of the service that the UWF tutoring services offers. Student services need to be created in GradesFirst before tutors set up a kiosk, before tutors set their availability, and before students can schedule and request appointments through GradesFirst. |

Check the box beside "Active" if you want the student service active (meaning that tutors can use this student service at a kiosk, and that students can schedule and request appointments for this student service if the tutoring service allows).
