Students may appeal for a waiver of the state-mandated repeat course surcharge. If you withdraw or fail a course due to extenuating circumstances, an exception may be granted only once for each course. Appeals should be addressed to the Office of the Registrar via the submitted via the Repeat Course Surcharge Appeal Form. Previously attempted courses must have a final grade of a "W" or an "F". Appeals will be reviewed by the committee and decisions will be emailed to your UWF student email account within 10 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) of receipt of the form.

As the petitioner you must...
- Attach a typed letter describing the circumstances of the chosen exemption for the committee to review.
- Include all supporting documentation.
- Submit one waiver request per course.
- Submit your request within six (6) months after the completion of the course the Repeat Course fee is charge in ordered
- charged to be considered.
