  1. To confirm how much storage you’re using, go to https://drive.google.com/settings/storage.
  2. To review and delete large or unnecessary files in Drive, go to https://drive.google.com/drive/quota.
  3. To search for and delete unnecessary or large emails, go to Manage files in your Google Drive storage and follow the instructions for Gmail.
  4. Reserve your storage for files related to your academics. Student Google accounts are for academic purposes. For storing files unrelated to academics, consider creating a personal Google account. This will both help you stay under the quota, as well as prevent you from losing access to personal files when you are no longer a student.
