Excerpt

In MyUWF, there is an app called Syllabus Viewer (you can search for it in the search field). This app will display the most recent syllabi for a course to give you a very solid idea of the topics, course requirements, student learning outcomes, etc. It's important to note that when you take any class, you must review your specific syllabus very carefully as there may be changes from a previous syllabus. The course requirements and textbook may not be the same.

  • Text instructions:
    • Log intoMyUWF and search Syllabus Viewer
    • When it comes up, select a semester
    • Either:
      • In the box for Course CRN, type a CRN (Course Reference Number) if you are looking for a specific syllabus assigned to a particular section of a class that was/is on the selected semester's course schedule.
      • OR
      • In the box for Course CRN, type the course number with no spaces (example: EME6609) - if you're looking for a syllabus for a course that was/is being taught to give yourself an overall view of general course requirements and information.
    • Click Search.
    • If you don't see any courses display, select a different semester and try again

  • Syllabus Viewer is a valuable tool for course preparation if a student desires to gain a better understanding of the overall concepts included within a course. It's not intended to replace the information included on the syllabus when the student actually takes the class.
  • Students are responsible for the requirements and information included on the syllabus provided to them by their instructor when they register for the course, and they should consult the course instructor with any questions regarding the syllabus or course requirements.
