Installing the official Gmail app

Click one of the following icons, to be redirected to the app download page.

Add an account

To add your UWF Gmail Account to your Gmail app, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Gmail app.
  2. Touch the Image Modified menu on the top left.
  3. At the top, touch the down arrow to the right of your username.
  4. Touch Add account.
  5. Select Google account. 
  6. Follow the steps on the screen to add your UWF Gmail account. You will type in your full UWF Gmail address and your ArgoNet password. 
  7. After the account has been added, other Google services, such as Calendar and Contacts, will automatically be synced to your device. 

Switch between accounts

Users can be logged in to multiple Gmail accounts in the Gmail app at the same time (such as their UWF Gmail accounts, and their personal Gmail accounts). 

Messages on the Gmail app stay separate for each separate account.

To switch between accounts:

  1. Open the Gmail app.
  2. Touch the Image Modified menu on the top left.
  3. At the top left, touch the smaller circle representing the account you want to switch to.
