The following instructions will assist with adding a student Gmail account to the Gmail app on an Android device. On the latest version of the Gmail app, you can read and send mail from all your email addresses—even if they're not an @gmail or a Google for Work account.

Add an account

If you’d like to add other accounts to your student Gmail Account your Gmail app, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Gmail app.
  2. Touch the  menu on the top left.
  3. At the top, touch the down arrow to the right of your username.
  4. Touch Add account.If
  5. you’re adding:
  6. A Gmail or Google for Work address, touch Google.
  7. A non-Gmail address (like Yahoo or Hotmail), touch Personal (POP, IMAP).
  8. A business email address that uses Exchange, touch Corporate (available for devices running Android 5.0 or higher).Select Google account. 
  9. Follow the steps on the screen to add your account.

  1. You will utilize your full email address (username@students.uwf.edu) and your ArgoNet password to set up the account. 
  2. After the account has been added, other Google services, such as the Calendar, will automatically be synced to your device.
