Course Info

Expand
titleI've already taken ECP 6705. May I still attend?

Unfortunately, no.

Expand
titleWill I complete the entire class on the trip?

No. You will complete about half of the class during the trip. The other half will be completed after.

Covid-19

Expand
titleIs the Covid-19 vaccine required to attend?

We will be under the rules of the countries that we are traveling to/within, so it is very possible that a vaccination card will have to be presented in order to travel to these countries. This is not a UWF policy or even a state of FL policy but could be the policies of the countries. We will update everyone as we know more.

Expand
titleWill the trip be canceled due to Covid-19?

Unfortunately, we can't be 100% certain. We will continue with trip planning and preparation, while regularly monitoring changes caused by Covid-19. You will be notified of any changes that may impact this trip.

Expand
titleWill I be refunded if the trip is canceled?

If you make payments and the trip is canceled, you will be refunded.

Insurance costs are included in the cost of the trip.

See Getting Insurance for Study Abroad for more information,

Expand
titleDo I need a passport?

Yes.  If you do not currently have a passport, we urge you to start the passport application process ASAP.  You will need it well before the trip begins for things like airline tickets and travel insurance.

According to the State Department, current wait times are as follows:

  • Routine processing: 8 to 11 weeks
  • Expedite processing (for an additional $60): 5 to 7 weeks

Expand

A visa is not required for U.S. citizens.
