titleWhen can I register for courses?

Students will process their own registration beginning on the 3rd week of open registration (see dates in our Academic Calendar). Once the State Employee registration period begins, the Cashier's Office may begin receiving State Employee Tuition Fee Waiver forms. The Controller's Office will verify employment and eligibility requirements and the Cashier's Office will process tuition waivers during the first week of classes. Please do not attempt to register prior to the State Employee registration dates or the waiver of tuition will not be applicable (see dates in our Academic Calendar).

Starting Spring 2020:

Students may register as soon as the third (3rd) week of registration. You may see the upcoming registration dates on our Academic Calendar.

titleWhen and where do I submit my approved tuition fee waiver and registration form?

Each semester of participation, students must submit a new new UWF State Employee Tuition Fee Waiver form after course registration. Students are responsible for outstanding fees for course(s), which do not match the authorized waiver form. In such cases, appropriate late registration fees and late payment fees will also be assessed. Approved alternate courses are encouraged and must be listed on the waiver form for consideration.

Once the Office of the Registrar receives the State Employee Tuition Fee Waiver form, it will take 2-3 business days for processing. Then, the Office of the Registrar routes the form to the Cashier’s Office to apply for the waiver.

UWF will accept:

  • Scanned copies at registrar@uwf.edu.
  • Faxed copies to 850.473.7345.
  • In-person drop-off at 11000 University Pkwy, Bldg 18 Pensacola FL 32514.

The Cashiers Office will have the waiver applied toward the account balance during the first week of class.
