GradesFirst and Google Calendar Integration (Coming soon)

When you integrate your Google Calendar with GradesFirst, your tutors and advisors will be able to schedule appointments for you without your having to contact those offices.  Since some offices may already require students to integrate their calendars and set their availability, considering saving yourself some time and effort by reviewing the links below as soon as you can:

• Google Calendar Help – Learn about how you can use Google Calendar, an application that comes with your Gmail account.  Among other things, you can sync your Google Calendar with your mobile device; create multiple calendars to manage your school, work, personal, and social lives; invite others to events you create and events that you're invited to; and send yourself reminders of upcoming events.
• Integrating GradesFirst with Google Calendar – Integrate the class schedule, tutoring appointments, and advising appointments that appear in GradesFirst with your Google Calendar.
• Integrating Google Calendar with GradesFirst – Integrate your personal Google Calendar with GradesFirst so that tutors, professors, and advisors can see when you're available and when you're busy.  They will not be able to see the details of the events that you created in Google Calendar.

Advising Centers (Coming soon)

One of the features of GradesFirst is to allow allows students to schedule and request appointments with their advisors, and to make sure that the process for scheduling and requesting appointments with one advisor or department is the same as the process for other advisors and departments.  As of August 2014, the following UWF advising centers and academic departments are the only ones using GradesFirst:

• First Year Advising Center (FYAC)
• Criminal Justice Advising Center

Tutoring Centers

As of August 2014, the only UWF tutoring center that allows students to schedule and request appointments through GradesFirst is the ACE Lab.:

• Scheduling a tutoring appointment using GradesFirst, for students – This feature gives students the ability to schedule tutoring appointments without having to call or visit in person. When students schedule their own appointments, they will receive a confirmation e-mail automatically.
• Requesting a tutoring appointment using GradesFirst, for students – This feature gives the students the ability to request tutoring appointments without having to call or visit in person. By requesting appointments, students are asking a UWF tutoring center to make an appointment, and these students will have to wait for the staff to schedule the appointment and send the confirmation e-mails.
