There may be a number of reasons for why students cannot see their cours= es in eLearning, or access = eLearning altogether. Please refer to the explanations below to d= etermine why your courses may not be available.
Some of the explanations below are based on the dates provided in the Academic Calendar.
If you activated your ArgoNet account today, you will have acc= ess to eLearning within 60 minutes, during our next system synchronization.=
Not all courses start on the same date. Course start and end dates vary = based on the semester term. Classes should show in eLearning after 8a= m Central Time on the start date provided. The start date is dependen= t on when your instructor has set the course to begin in eLearning. &n= bsp;To see what day your class begins, access your schedule in the Classmat= e app in MyUWF (see below).
When clicking on the "Details" button, if you see "Available in eLearnin= g on mm/dd/yyyy," this means the course will be available on that day.
= The instructor may not have activated your course in eLearning. To check th= e status of your course, access the Classmate ap= p in MyUWF. Then, click the "Details" button next to the course you would l= ike to check. If the course has not yet been activated, the course will sho= w "Not an eLearning course":
Some instructors choose to grant Early Access to th= eir courses, allowing you to get a head-start on coursework. Courses set to= allow Early Access will become active in eLearning the day after grades ar= e due for the previous term.
Not all instructors choose this option. If your ins= tructor has granted Early Access you will see "Available in eLearning"= under "Details" in the Classmate app in MyUWF.<= br>
If you add or d= rop a course today, the change will be reflected in eLearning within 60 min= utes, during our next system synchronization.
Generally speaking, courses from the = previous semester will remain in eLearning until two business days before t= he first day of the new semester.
Please note that sometimes instructor= s may choose to give their students indefinite viewing access to a previous= course. Please contact your instructor about previous courses.
Some courses may not have an eLearnin= g component. Instructors often use eLearning as a teaching tool, but others= may not need it for their particular section. For face-to-face classes, th= is may be the case. Please check with your instructor and syllabus to ensur= e the course should have an eLearning component.
Many times, courses will be linked to= gether to allow the instructor to manage multiple sections. Therefore, the = five-digit Course Reference Number (CRN) or the course title may be differe= nt from what you see on your class schedule.
If none of the above solves the issue, please contact the ITS Help Desk.
